Marc Rubin

Marc Rubin takes design personally.

His unrelenting passion for visual expression is always evident, whether before a blank sheet, a canvas, or a computer screen.

As a fine arts painter, Marc's creative impulses extend from contemporary graphic design and a fascination with the intricacies of typography, to painting in oils in a tradition that is centuries old. His work can be seen in galleries through-out the Northeast, including The Carol Schwartz Gallery in Philadelphia, PA; Artists' Gallery in Chestertown, MD; and theLambertville Gallery of Fine Art in Lambertville, NJ. For more than 10 years, Marc has painted with the Sunday Morning Painters' Group under the guidance of world-renowned painter Thomas Buechner. His work has been accepted into the Arn otArt Museum's Regional Exhibitions in Elmira, NY.
He has taught painting and figure drawing at Elmira College.

Marc is a member of the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, New York,the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Design Management Institute, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He serves on the Boardof the ARTS of the Souther Finger Lakes and the Upstate New York chapter of the AmericanInstitute of Graphic Arts.
