Rien van Uitert

Rien van Uitert (Amersfoort, 1952) is a Dutch artist , living in Groningen.

After training as an architect and designing several projects came Rien van Uitert in the grip of realistic painting. He attended several courses , including the Graphic Centre in Groningen , and learned the intricacies of Chris Herenius and Herman van Hoogdalem .

He exhibited among other Museum Møhlmann As a participant of the "independent realists " exhibition , Galerie Wiek XX , Art Gallery and the Hall of Heijningen Dilcht . In his work , he adds objects and landscapes affecting him together . He creates his own version of reality . Doors , gates , farm and taking pictures are recurring themes . In recent years also increasingly appears the dog in his work .
