Hector Vargas





Born and raised in Lima, Peru. After High School he studied for 6 years at the National School of Fine Arts in Lima, Peru. Living in the United States of America since 1981.

In his work Vargas achieves a Universe that came from the surrealism. About his style he comments “ in my works I start with common figures like humans, animals, the ocean, space, machinery etc… that later on takes diverse shapes and forms through the exercise of the imagination and fantasy with a decidedly metaphysical quality”.
