Primarily self-taught as an artist, I successfully exhibited work in various galleries and art shows before following a very different professional career in the health care industry. Throughout that time I continued to develop my artistic skills with a view to eventually returning full-time to my first love: quality artwork with a strong sense of narrative, mystery and occasional dark whimsy(!)
As of this year (2011), I've been able to dedicate all of my energy and time to working as an artist and freelance illustrator. I work from my home studio in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
