Artist Statement

I barely disguise the fact that much of my work is concerned with incongruity, the pulse of madness. How is it that we are all not entirely insane? The scale of our brains and our opposable thumbs inspire us to imagine and reach toward the infinite, yet we confront daily rude mortal facts: we are fragile, we consistently deteriorate, we die.
