Niko Kherkeladze was born in 1953 in Akhalgori in the family of an official. In 1977 graduated with Honors the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and after it Post Graduate of this Academy. From 1984 is a member of International Art Found and from 1983 - a Member of the Artist's Union of Georgia. Niko Kherkeladze's works were exhibited in Georgia, Germany, Russia, many times in Moscow, in Chekoslovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Japan, Italy, France and were awarded by medals and diplomas. His pictures are now in Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, Karl-Marx-Stadt in Germany and were purchased by some private collectors: Mr.Yeltsin, Mr.Chernomyrdin, Mr. Demirel, MR,Ravsandjani.
