Sabin Howard Sculpture

Sabin Howard Sculpture

Sculptor SABIN HOWARD has produced a body of work in which we can see a reflection of ourselves hidden deep within layers of clay, cast into bronze. In his studio, Apollo, Hermes, Aphrodite, and others all demonstrate the journey we trace from being fragmented to becoming complete. Howard’s aesthetic is focused on timeless appeal and harmony. The use of form and circles causes his figures to dance with organic energy, caught between being abstract and perfectly formed. He has exhibited his work internationally and is collected in Shanghai, the Americas and Europe by over 120 collectors, both private and public, including the New Mexico State Public Art, The Archdiocese of Newark, The Leslie Lohman Art Foundation, The Mount, and Millennium Partners. This collection represents 28 years and over 40,000 hours of sculpting from life. He resides in New York City with his wife, the author Traci Slatton.

The New York Times wrote : “Sabin Howard, a sculptor of immense talent, has created some of the last decade’s most substantive realistic sculpture."
