Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks. Simonides

Sharon Terrizzi

Sharon Terrizzi

Sharon is a contemporary NZ artist based in Kerikeri Northland. She presents her work in the form of figurative sculpture, by using an image of a baby in the representation of adult actions and emotions. Her inspiration comes from human psychology, society, the media, doodling, and her family and friends. Most of her concepts come from every day experiences with those around her.

Her current body of work is shaped by social interactions in groups. She is particularly interested in the groups of people she is either involved in or closely associated with, predominantly focusing on reactive behaviour.
