Daniel was born and raised on Long Island, New York and lives on the water in one of its coastal towns. Much of his imagery comes from these surroundings and that's helped to make him one of the most respected and successful painters of coastal landscapes.

Some of his paintings have been purchased by international clients in London, South Africa and Australia. For years his original artworks and reproductions have been sought after to grace the walls of executive boardrooms, the living rooms of several celebrities and the many homes of lovers of coastal and nautical landscapes. Dan has donated his work to many charitable events including East End Hospice, The Guardian Brain Foundation, The CancerResearch Fund and the Shore Estuary Reserve Stewardship awards.
