Daniela Astone
Daniela was born in Pisa, Italy, in 1980 and raised in Porto Santo Stefano, a costal town south of Florence. She discovered her passion for drawing and painting at a very young age, and began nourishing and cultivating her craft early on. In 1997, after graduating from the High School for Visual Arts, she moved to Florence to deepen her knowledge of painting. Upon arriving, she first worked in illustration, then, in 2001, enrolled in The Florence Academy of Art, where she is now an instructor. In 2003, Daniela participated, as a student, in the exhibition, “Realism Revisited” at Panorama Museum, Bad Frankenhausen, Germany. In 2004, she won the Best Painting of the Year award at The Florence Academy of Art. In September 2006 she participated in “The Florence Academy of Art Masters”, at Ettinger Gallery in New York. She shows regularly with Ann Long Fine Arts Gallery, Charleston, South Carolina, and her works are in private collections in Italy and the U.S.
Daniela Astone nasce a Pisa nel 1980 e trascorre i suoi primi anni a Porto S. Stefano in Maremma, Italy. Fin da giovanissima scopre la passione per il disegno e la pittura. Nel 1997, dopo essersi diplomata in arti visive al Liceo Artistico, la sua forte determinazione a proseguire gli studi artistici la porta a trasferirsi a Firenze. Le molteplici attività culturali e artistiche della città di Firenze contribuiscono a formarla e ad approfondire la passione e la dedicazione all’arte dandole occasione di misurare le sue capacità costantamente. La prima esperienza di lavoro di Daniela è lavorare per una scuola di Illustratori. Nel 2001, si iscrive alla Florence Academy of Art, una delle accademie d’arte private più quotate a Firenze. Alla sua laurea nel 2004, riceve un premio di pittura, raggiungendo il massimo del puntegio in tutta la sua classe. La carriera di Daniela è costellata di partecipazioni a eventi importanti quali la mostra “Realism Revisited” presso il Panorama Museum, a Bad Frankenhausen in Germania nel 2003 e a numerose mostre personali presso la Ann Long Fine Art tra il 2005 e il 2007. Daniela attualmente insegna alla Florence Academy of Art a Firenze e vive e lavora nelle campagne vicino a Firenze.
