After having done the school leaving examination at the High School in Busto Arsizio, he got the degree at the “Belle Arti” Brera Accademy in 1992.
Before finishing his studies he won in ex-aequo the “Annunciata” prize in 1981 in “Annunciata” Gallery, painting section. A great Jury, which was composed by several Masters ( e.g. G.Ballo, A.Cascella, L.Caramel, S.Grossetti, F.Gualdoni, G.Marchese, G.Mascherpa, G.Ortelli, M.Perazzi, R.Sanesi, A.Sassu, E.Tadini ), judged his works by using this expression: “To Doriano Scazzosi, for his balanced solution, with what he gathers in just one strong and in the meantime gentle emotional quality image , several ways of expression, that are apparently the opposite”.
