Peter Malone

Peter Malone, one of Britain’s newer illustrators, is becoming highly sought- after by both publishers and collectors alike. Booksillustrated.com is delighted to offer some of his fantastic book illustrations.

Working from his home in the West Country Peter has illustrated many books as well as designed a set of first day covers for the Royal Mail. He studied art at both Winchester and Coventry School of Arts. His first illustrations were a set of Bible stories and he went on to work with Orion Books and other international publishing houses. In 2007 he achieved another milestone in his career by writing and illustrating his own book, ‘Close to the Wind’, a story of the Beaufort Scales.
Peter is currently working on a commission from the Royal Mail for a series of Christmas stamps.

Books illustrated include The Forest Child, Star Shapes, The Magic Flute, The Possibility of Angels, The Drowsy Hours, Gardens of the Imagination, Peter and the Wolf, Princess Fairy Tales, At the Opera and many others.
