Irina Vorkale

Born in 1953. Professional training: Janis Rozentals Art School of Riga (1961 - 1973),
Painting Department at the Latvian Academy of Arts. Scene painter (1974 - 1979).
Contributor to exhibitions since 1976. A member of the Artists' Union of Latvia as of 1985.
1979-1984 Association of Latvian Young Artists.
Her works are to be found in the collections of the State Art Museum and Artists' Union of Latvia,
Ministry of Culture of Latvia, Latvian Culture Fund, Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Ottawa, Canada.
Occupation: Watercolor (specific technique) illustration of books, applied graphics, design,
porcelain painting, silk painting, design of expositions, mural painting.
